Objectives
The SISWEC project aims to update the knowledge of schools, institutes and universities on these dimensions of social activity and social work. The project proposes to build specific curricula adapted to the accompaniment of social change and to the new needs of introducing an ethical and civic interprofessional perspective in social action.
The project is based on existing cooperation between training institutes, universities and European social action networks. The SISWEC project
aims to develop coherent training plans to train new professional skills.
The SISWEC project aims to:
1) build a synthesis and a prospective in terms of contents and new practices of social action in the following fields (local democracy - mutual aid and fight against poverty - reduction of intra-family violence - fight against extremist narratives);
2) to characterize the pedagogical tracks and to evaluate the impacts of the new trainings adapted to the identified problem situations;
3) to produce resources targeted on critical cases and to promote good social practices by encouraging alliances of actions;
4) to train professionals capable of multiplying actions and improving the skills of professionals.
The general objective is to improve the offer of university training in initial and continuing education by updating the knowledge and training methods of social workers. It is also a question of building interdisciplinary bridges within the framework of social studies of European phenomena that have an impact on social work.Update and improve the knowledge, education/training methods offered by higher education institutions (schools, institutes, universities) in the field of social work.

- Train the teams of trainers of the partner organisations for dissemination
