European social workers share many challenges: the increase in the number of poor workers, the ageing of the population, the issues linked to ethnocultural diversity, health crises and wars. Higher education and training are a must for professionals working for European social inclusion.
The foremost rationale for this project is the urgent need to increase the skills of professionals in the face of Europe's difficulties in welcoming, integrating and caring for an increasingly precarious and "invisible" population. Another project's primary goal is to link higher education with the social professions. |
